BDR Germany
About the company, activity & ambition
The Ambition: Make European industry shine by making factories more competitive and operators more autonomous. We don't just sell software. We build digital transformation projects, and Germany, Europe's largest industrial market, is our next frontier.
The Activity: Fabriq is the Operating System (OS) of production floors. Our SaaS platform digitalizes lean management rituals (routines, SQCDP, QRQC) to solve shop-floor problems 3 times faster than paper or Excel.
Concrete proof:
€26M raised in total, including a €22M round in June 2025 led by Expedition Capital.
750+ sites equipped across 43 countries, for industry leaders such as Safran, Airbus, Renault and LVMH.
A team of 110 people who put solidarity and collective play first.
About the role
Context: This is a newly created position. You join Maxime, who leads the international sales team (Germany, UK, Nordics), working in a tight tandem with Goktan (Account Executive Germany, based in Berlin). You will be the first full-time BDR dedicated to the German market: no established playbook, no crowd of peers on your patch, a market to open, and the freedom that comes with it.
The Objective: Open the German market by generating around 5 qualified first meetings per week with large industrial companies and help us crack the recipe of German outreach.
The Challenges:
Pioneer a market: Germany is huge, under-equipped and demanding. You build credibility call after call (~100 cold calls per week), account after account, where trust and reputation have to be earned.
Own the account discovery: Beyond booking meetings, you run first qualification calls, navigate from one stakeholder to the next, map the organization, and hand the AE a documented synthesis to launch the sales cycle.
Test, learn, and shape the playbook: You experiment with angles, channels and messages, analyze what works, and come back to the team with fact-based proposals. Your learnings directly shape our German go-to-market.
Co-build the target list: Priority accounts are defined with the AE, but you have real ownership on your patch — spot a promising industrial group, make the case, and it joins the list. Trade shows are yours to leverage too.
Skills and experience we are looking for
The MUST-HAVES:
Languages: Native-level German (C2) and fluent English, spoken and written. You will also support English-speaking Nordic markets (Finland, Denmark).
Experience: Around 1-2 years of professional experience (quality internships count) in a structured professional environment. Prior BDR experience is not required. We will train you.
Mindset: Genuine curiosity for industry and the people who run it, resilience in the face of rejection, and real comfort with uncertainty. You come for this mission, not for a stepping stone.
The PLUSES (nice to have):
French (optional — the team works internationally).
Knowledge of the industrial world and lean management (MES, ERP, operational excellence).
Experience with Salesforce and sales engagement tools.
Compensation and practical details
The Package: Fixed salary + uncapped variable with accelerators on overperformance, in line with market standards
The Setting: Paris as a priority, with the sales team; the role is also open to Berlin, alongside our AE Germany. Flexible hybrid remote policy.
